Roskilde Festival

Since 2018, the partnership between Meyer Sound and the Roskilde Festival has helped shape the sound of Northern Europe’s largest and longest-running music and arts festival, held each summer in Denmark. Across seven stages and a temporary city of more than 130,000 people, the collaboration supports one of the most demanding environments in live sound—where power, coverage, control, and consistency have to work together in real time.

For Meyer Sound, Roskilde is both a proving ground and an ongoing research partnership. Each year, Meyer Sound teams work alongside the Roskilde Festival to design systems that elevate the audience experience while advancing new approaches to large-scale festival sound. From PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeakers and 2100-LFC low-frequency control elements at the iconic Orange Stage to innovative deployments shaped by acoustic research and immersive sound tools, Meyer Sound systems span the festival site. This summer, Roskilde becomes one of the first major festivals to feature TIGRA, Meyer Sound’s new compact line array, on two stages—EOS and FAUNA. In all of it, Roskilde brings Meyer Sound technology, engineering, and field expertise together in service of the artists onstage, the engineers behind the mix, and the audiences across the festival site.
